I am ready for the kids to go back to school! They need the structure and routine and I am tired of hearing:

MOM, can I have this?

MOM, he hit me!

MOM, where is my ____ (fill in the blank with some toy etc)

WHY do I have to clean this up?

MOM I'm hungry! (despite the fact I just fed them)

Sound familiar? Yep, I love my little darlings, but hauling the three them out for park visits, swimming and McD's is tiring this mom out! I will gladly get up at 6 AM to get them ready for school (wait, did I really just type that I want to get up at 6? I am not a morning person at all!!!)

Feeling unproductive today

Today I am feeling very unproductive. My to do list is very long and not much is getting checked off as done. My 3 year old is being a little stinker and my newborn baby is having a "gotta be held by mommy only and no one else can hold me or I will cry until she comes back" kind of mood.

When I have days like this, I just think of the following poem. ( I do not know the author, if you do, please let me know and I will give proper credit).

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait until tomorrow
For babies grow up, I've learned to my sorrow.
So settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
